I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and I current living in Barcelona, Spain since 2019.
I worked to many clients in USA, Latin America, United Arab Emirates, Portugal and Spain.
Bio
Marcela Torres was born and trained in Buenos Aires, one of the most relevant cities in creativity in the world. She studied photography, is a technician in artistic ceramic and a graphic designer for the University of Buenos Aires. She is also an illustrator and takes advantage of this artistic knowledge in her work.
Thanks to her creative profile she arrived at advertising, where she has worked as an art director for more than 15 years and leading teams for the last 8. She has worked in international creative agencies like FCB, JWT and TBWA. Her experience is multidisciplinary, she worked in branding, communication (online, offline, 360), packaging, editorial and events for retail, mass consumption and luxury brands. She thinks conceptually in whatever discipline, understanding the differences that each universe requires. She is also a proactive, very versatile and detailed professional with a high level of self-management and organization. She constantly continues to train, looking for growth and keep up with new trends and technologies. She also has experience doing presentations to clients and coordinating work with suppliers and professionals from other disciplines, like industrial designers, printers, copywriters, animators, photographers, etc.
In 2019 her work led her to live in Barcelona, where she currently resides. She received several awards in America, Asia and Europe and worked on projects for a long list of big brands from the United States, United Arab Emirates, Latin America and Spain, which continues growing today.
